DAVENPORT NEEDS BETTER REPRESENTATION.
TOGETHER, WE CAN DO BETTER.
Issues that matter to me and to our community:
Advocating for Diplomacy and Conflict Resolution
Canada can rebuild its reputation as a global peacebuilder by:
Mediating conflicts: Expand Canada’s role as a neutral mediator, offering conflict resolution expertise and supporting peace agreements.
Supporting multilateral diplomacy: Enhance participation in the UN, WTO, and OAS to promote peace and global security.
Promoting arms control: Advocate for nuclear disarmament and support treaties like the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).
Standing for human rights: especially now, Canada’s voice in support of human rights and of peace is needed more than ever. We must have the courage of our convictions and we must be bold – actions speak so much louder than words.

Migration
Create a fair and compassionate immigration system, with clear, accessible pathways to citizenship.
Ensure that refugees and migrants are treated with dignity, given the resources they need to thrive, and allowed to fully integrate into Canadian society.
Advocate for policies that address the root causes of migration, including conflict and climate change.
